Sao Paulo walking tour, 11 August 2009

So, first things first, Laura had to see Sao Paulo so with Laura`s Lonely Planet to Brazil we set off on a walking tour. We took in all the sights of the city centre. It was a very different place to the quiet city center I had seen at the weekend when I first arrrived. It was a hive of activity and although the weather wasn`t as good as it was on Sunday it was still pleasant enough to walk round. In an attempt to not look too obvious as we read about the buildings that we passed Laura and I found the telephone boxes most useful at concealing ourselves as we consulted the LP. So every time we reached a highlight on the walking tour map we dicked into a phone box a la Clark Kent and read about the sight before us! Easy! But of course, we still hadn`t finished our epic catch up so most of our walking tour was arbitary to the important tales we had to swap.
